Senior Women's Grass Hockey

A Wenty Grass hockey team is a great place for girls (aged 12 and over) and women of any age looking for social, friendly and competitive games

Wenty grass teams compete in the Open Grass Competition at Meadowbank. Games are played on a Saturday afternoon (April to August), they are scheduled from 12.30pm onwards and are played at Tory Wicks Memorial Fields, Meadowbank Park, Meadowbank.

Training is on Tuesday nights 7pm to 8pm at MJ Bennett Reserve, MacArthur Crescent, Westmead.

The grass competition start date is usually around early April.

Fees for the season will include a HAUS fee, HNSW fee, NWSHA association fee, Wenty club fee and a competition fee. Grass competition fees are usually around $100. The HAUS, HNSW and NWSHA fees vary each year. You will be notified once these fees have been finalised and are available online to pay. If you intend to play in multiple competitions e.g. Open grass and open turf, the fees will be different.

You will also need to purchase a Wenty uniform (shirt, singlet and socks), a black skirt or black shorts and personal equipment such as a hockey stick, mouth guard and shin pads.
