Junior Turf Hockey 

Games are played in the North Areas Junior Hockey Competition on Saturday mornings at various turf fields including Ryde, Pennant Hills (Pennant Hills Park), Gordon (Kuring-gai High School), Cintra Concord and Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre.

We cater for boys and girls from 6 years of age. Teams are graded by age and competition runs from April to September for Under 12s to Under 18s. There is also an Under 8s and Under 10s competition held in Term 2. There are usually no games in school holidays. 

Wenty is also running  "Come and Try" sessions every Monday night starting on 5 February 2024, 6.30pm to 7.30pm at Cintra Hockey Complex, Gipps Street, Concord. Email us at info@wentyhockey.org.au for more information. 

Fees for the season will include a HAUS fee, HNSW fee, NWSHA association fee and a Wenty Club Admin fee. Wenty covers the junior turf competition fee. You will be notified once the HAUS, HNSW and NWSHA fees have been finalised and are available online to pay. 

In addition to no cost for the competition fee you will also be given a Wenty shirt and socks and mouthguard at no cost. We can also lend you a hockey stick for the season if you're new to the sport and want to see if your child likes it first before spending alot of money. So the only uniform/equipment you really need to purchase is a black skirt or black shorts and shin pads.
