Open Women's Turf Hockey

SWHL Competition

Wenty has two turf teams (ML3 and ML5) playing in the Sydney Women's Hockey League (SWHL) on the synthetic surface at the State Hockey Centre, Sydney Olympic Park (and other venues as required by the draw). The Sydney Womens Hockey League is the #1 hockey competition in Sydney and NSW. To be eligible to play you must be at least 12 years of age and have experience playing hockey before, especially on a synthethic turf surface.

The SWHL competition starts in April and runs through to September. Training is on Monday nights 6.30pm to 7.30pm at Cintra Hockey Complex, Gipps Street, Concord NSW 2137.

The fees for the season include a HNSW fee, NWSHA Association fee, Wenty club admin fee and a Competition fee.  Installment payments are offered for the competition fees. If you intend to play in multiple competitions e.g. Open grass and open turf the fees will be different. Contact us at info@wentyhockey.org.au for more information on registration and competition fees.

You will also need to purchase a Wenty uniform (shirt, singlet and socks), a black skirt or black shorts and personal equipment such as a hockey stick, mouth guard and shin pads.
